The photographer, Danni Thompson, mentioned within the society launch that “I needed to seize the fragile great thing about the curled fronds framing the flower heads, a gentler distinction to the spiky stems and seedheads, so I acquired low and shut, framing the curls towards the sky to make them pop.”
